The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception of the invites the dioceses of the United States to join in pealing their cathedral and shrine bells at 2 PM ET on Saturday, December 7. The timing will coincide with the Rite of Opening the Doors of the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, whose doors have been closed since being ravaged by fire on April 15, 2019. Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, USCCB President has offered his support of this effort.
