Urgent Message from the CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Palm Beach
Dear Friends,
For the second time this month, we reach out to you in the wake of a traumatic weather event.
As we survey the damage from Hurricane Milton and the related tornado and flood events, we know that neighborhoods all across our diocese have been impacted. Individuals and families have suffered damage - many displaced from their homes ravaged by the unprecedented tornado activity in our area.
We extend our prayers to those who have suffered immeasurable loss. It is clear as the week unfolds, we will learn more of the loss experienced across the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.
Know that Catholic Charities remains firm in our commitment to respond to immediate needs and to assure the long-term recovery of our region. We will be working with our local emergency response teams to conduct outreach, further assess where our efforts are most needed, and mobilize our disaster recovery program with volunteers and through your donations.
