Dignity of Life: Human Trafficking
SPONSORED BY THE ST. HELEN RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY
Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in the United States. It can happen in any community and victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality and they can come from any socioeconomic background. Human trafficking happens everywhere.
This informative presentation is provided to help bring awareness to this modern form of slavery impacting all communities and so many young people. Perpetrators are experts at spotting and grooming vulnerable young adults.
We are pleased to have a panel of experts representing the Hunan Trafficking Coalition of the Treasure Coast, CILO of the Treasure Coast, and local law enforcement and church representatives.
There will also be a preview of the Sound of Freedom movie, being released the following week.
