Knights of Columbus Silver Rose Ceremony
The Silver Rose honors Our Lady of Guadalupe and celebrates the miracle of the roses brought to her by Juan Diego in 1531. This emblematic rose is on a journey from Canada to Mexico, where it will arrive on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th.
This is an annual event hosted by the Knights of Columbus and this year the Silver Rose is being brought to Vero Beach. Every stop the Silver Rose makes on this pilgrimage is an occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, the spiritual renewal of our nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe!
Please join our Spanish Ministry and the Knights of Columbus on Friday, August 5th at 6 p.m., as we honor and pray to Our Lady of Guadalupe with the Silver Rose. The ceremony consists of a rosary prayer service in English and Spanish at the Grotto, which is followed by the First Friday Spanish Mass at 7 p.m. All are welcome, please join us!
