A gala evening that sparkled in a Jubilee of Hope – Catholic Charities
Diocese of Palm Beach 15th Annual Caritas Dei Bishop’s Gala.
A Night that Supported Local, Life-Changing Outreach Programs and Ministries
Catholic Charities, on January 30, 2025, celebrated its 15th Annual Caritas Dei Bishops Gala. This was an unforgettable evening at the historic Breakers Hotel that celebrated the Caritas Dei Bishops Gals Crystal Jubilee in support of essential outreach programs that are transforming lives within our community. This milestone event represented 15 years of this gala, which supports Catholic Charities unwavering dedication to uplifting our local brothers and sisters in need, regardless of race, religion, or background. The Crystal Jubilee was an evening of inspiration, celebration, and charity. The ballroom was filled with guests who share a common commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of local people in need. The evening raised much-needed funds that will support Catholic Charities life-changing programs and ministries that help the poor and most vulnerable members of our community irrespective of race or religion. The 2025 Caritas Dei awards were presented to Kathryn and Leo Vecellio, Dorothy Harper and Father William O’Shea. Debra Tornaben, Development Director, said, “Our work is never-ending but our strength lies in the support of people like: Presenting Crystal Honorary Sponsors – The Fanjul Family and Florida Crystals, Crystal Guardians of Hope Sponsors – Kathryn and Leo Vecellio, Chairmen Emeritus – Marietta McNulty, Honorary Chairmen and Sponsors – James Borynack and Adolfo Zaralegui - Findlay Galleries, Kathy and Paul Leone, Major Sponsors, The Samuel J. and Connie M.
