The Office of Finance is responsible for the overall financial management of the diocese and the stewardship of fiscal resources in support of the mission and goals of the diocese. Its specific responsibilities involve all financial and related functions including budgeting, accounting and financial reporting, banking and cash management, investments, internal and external audits, insurance and risk management, real estate (through the Episcopal Delegate), certain legal matters and information technology. The office also provides financial oversight, guidance and advice for the fiscal operations of the parishes, missions and schools of the diocese. It also serves the various consultative bodies established by the Bishop including the Diocesan Finance Council, and various trust boards, commissions and committees.
