An annual Life March from St. Joan of Arc Parish’s Mercy Center to Sanborn Square Park in Boca Raton and back drew 100 people from surrounding communities Oct. 20, led by Knights of Columbus from St. John the Evangelist, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Jude, Ascension and St. Joan of Arc. Walking while singing and praying the rosary, they offered a peaceful witness to the pro-life message. Margarita Duncan with Birthline/Lifeline of Catholic Charities spoke to the marchers at the park about what makes Amendment 4 dangerous and deceptive, urging all to vote no.
