Respect Life Ministry Prayer Service
Florida Governor, Ron Desantis has signed another death warrant for James Barnes. Like many people on Florida’s death row, James has been diagnosed with severe mental illness. He has spent more than three decades (1988) on Florida’s death row.
The execution is scheduled for Thursday August 3rd at 6pm ET. Catholic Charities’ Respect Life Ministry has organized a prayer service at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens on August 3rd at 5:30 p.m. The prayer service will be held outside at Military Trail and Holly Road where we will silently pray for James and the victim, Patricia Miller.
Intentional Prayers of Comfort and Healing will be said for both families and friends.
We continue to pray for an end to violence.
