Teacher Aide - St. Luke Catholic School
St. Luke Catholic School, A Notre Dame ACE Academy, is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Full Time Teacher Aide for the 2024-25 School Year. Teacher aides are responsible to support the teachers activities plan. Teacher aides must also follow all duties and responsibilities as outlined by the mission, vision, and values of the school and Diocese of Palm Beach County.
Certification Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Minimum Experience 3+ years, preferred
Curriculum Qualifications:
- Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups
- Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behavior
- Help teachers prepare for lessons by getting materials ready or setting up equipment
- Help supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips
- Must be able to demonstrate technology skills with chromebooks and Google Classroom
- Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and able to cooperate, contribute, and participate effectively in team meetings
- Use of data-driven instruction to set goals, action plans, and task appropriate instruction
Professional Qualifications:
- Impeccable communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Must be able to complete assignments, grades, assessments in a timely manner
- Must have excellent classroom management
- Must be able to build relationships with all stakeholders
