As Pope Francis has stated, “To hope, then, is to welcome this gift that God offers us every day..."

Today’s liturgical memorial recalls the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes which began on 11 February 1858. The protagonist of this series of events was a girl named Bernadette Soubirous, today numbered among the host of Saints.
Catholic Charities, on January 30, 2025, celebrated its 15th Annual Caritas Dei Bishops Gala. This was an unforgettable evening at the historic Breakers Hotel that celebrated the Caritas Dei Bishops Gals Crystal Jubilee in support of essential outreach programs that are transforming lives within our community.
