When You May Retire Normal Retirement Date Your normal retirement date is the first day of the month on or after reaching your 65th birthday and the completion of 10 Years of Service. Please note that a different normal retirement date may apply to you if you have not been credited with a Year of Service after June 30, 1986. Early Retirement - Lay Employees Only If you are a Lay Employee you may retire before age 65, with a reduced benefit, if you are at least age 55 and have completed 20 Years or more of Credited Service. Delayed Retirement You may remain actively employed beyond your Normal Retirement Date and continue to accrue benefits under the Plan. Your retirement date shall be the first day of the month on or after the date on which you actually retire. |
